If I understand, you have the 4 bolts and straps off? You must pry it forward between the u-joint and the pinion yoke.

I'v tried to pry it foward and from what i heard from people is that is shouldnt take this much effort and usally its an easy task, but i'v bend two heavy dutey screwdrivers??? and i'm afraid of breaking something. Should i try prying it with a crowbar but alot harder?

I just changed my driveshaft yesterday and it wasnt all that easy to get the shaft out, I banged it with a mallet a couple times and and yanked on it and it finally came out took me like 5-10 minutes I used wd-40 too. Maybe try some PB blaster let it soak a little and then just yank down and towards the engine and it should come out. Good luck.

ok it finally came out i had to put all my weight into it but it finally broke, i noticed after getting the drive shaft out that the two ***** on the end were no longer attached with the metal strip that holds them maybe i broke it as i was messing around but i did notice it was rusted preety bad, so should i just replace them, would advanced auto have these? and what would them be called? thanks for all your help guys

The thin metal strip between the caps just holds them on when the drive shaft is not sitting in the pinion yoke. It does not matter if it is busted or rusty. The strip probably only cam from the factory. I doubt a replacement u-joint would have one (maybe it does). You should replace the whole u-joint if you want to replace any of it. I don't think any of the individual pieces are sold separately anyway.
