Drivers Side Window Stuck

My drivers side window sorta stopped working periodically. Any ideas what might be up with it? I can hear the motor making a slight whine or click sound when I press down on the switch. Is this just a dead motor? Anyone have the same symptoms? If so let me know I did a search and found shoeboxes repair guide for a bad window motor and will likely make it a weekend project...

i think its broken

pull the switch panel off and see if you didnt break the little plastic arms on the switch. they break pretty easily. if thats not it it might be time for a new motor.

if its working every now and then periodically, its the motor thats going out and you'll have to change it.

Thanks, gona call up GM and get the part. My passenger window has always been a tad slower than my drivers side one. Would a new motor in the passenger side be a good idea? Or is the problem something else...
