drivers side headers wont go in!!!heeeelllppp!!!
Damn guys! I've done hooker LT's on two cars and the Driver's side went in in like 5 minutes from underneath! Just remove the steering linkage and you are good to go! Just make sure the car is as high off the ground as possible!
I had the exact same problem and i had to jack the motor up and then take off the motor mount bracket that is bloted to the chasis (i think its 3 bolts) and then it slid right in. On the other hand....the passenger side slid right in.
hope this helps.

My stock mounts were totally collapsed but luckilly I had some Energy Suspension pieces I was planning on doing anyhow so all went well, but if you are still on your stock mounts and they are as bad as mine were then you will probably have clearance issues just because the engine isn't where it's suppose to be. BTY, with my stock mounts to the point I was practically metal to metal, the car is much smoother now with the ES mounts installed (win-win).

How are you trying to put in the drivers side? You are waiting to put the slip primary on after you get the header close to its position right?
I think what creates the most problems is getting the car high enough. I was having the same problem but I was replacing the motor mounts anyways, so I took the motor and frame mounts off and the driver side went right in. Haven't done the passenger side yet but it looks like it will be pretty easy.

I GOT IT IN HELLA EASY TODAY FOR SOME REASON..I JUST JACKED UP THE MOTOR...AND SHOVED THAT HEADER IN AND IT WENT IN...SO TOMMOROW I START ON THE PASSENGER SIDE..THANKS FOR THE HELP YA...ANYBODY GOT TIPD FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE
Try putting the header in from the top and the bottom first with different angles. If no go then jack the motor up to the cowl and it should give you more room for it to slide in from the bottom. Thats how it went with me so I guess try that and don't forget it's all about the proper angles you slide the header in on.
