Thumbs down Driver's side drain plug

For the coolant...

Anyone have any tips/tricks for getting this thing out? It looks like it will be a huge PITA :/

Especially, does anyone know the exact bolt size of it?

Also, what are your thoughts about just leaving it be (I'm doing a coolant flush, have already drained the radiator, reservoir tank, and knock sensor side)?

I'm not sure what size the bolt is, but I think you can get to it if you use an extension and a flex socket.

Re: Driver's side drain plug

It is a major pita. I snapped a socket extension trying to remove that damn plug when I was draining mine to do the cam. I gave up on it after that and just removed the knock plug on the passenger side. I just tried to flush the old fluid left in there the best I could with the hose, it wasnt to hard to do with the electric wp.
