Question The dreaded "Service engine soon" light

Mine just went on yesterday (on the way to the SLP CAD, naturally!). Anyway, checked all fluids and wires, all is well there. Am I looking at a EGR or O2 sensor issue here? Would appreciate any input you guys have.

Thanks

It could be literally DOZENS of things. Only way to tell for sure what the problem is to have it scanned.

Thanks, man. Any suggestions on where to pick up a scanner, prefer to do it myself.

Handheld OBDII scanners run over $100, but you can take it to Autozone and have it scanned for free (or a dealer would probably do it for very cheap as well).

Wink

hard to tell with obd2. could be a lot of things. do yourself a favor and switch to OBD1

but seriously, go to autozone and they do scans for free.
