any disadvantage to going with a drag tire on a 16" rim? I have my old rims still and could just easily order up a set of Hoosier Quick Times Pros. They have a 28X11.5-16......will this fit the stock rim???? Or should I just get a set of 15" rims?

11.5 inch tread might be a stretch on an 8 inch rim. Oh hell, make it work
