I love my suspension mods, and unlike tires, you don't have to keep buying them. It is so easy to launch now with all new suspension.

On bald street tires, I think I ran 2.47 60' and 14.7 @ 96. With DR's and a 1.8-1.9 60', what would you guys think my 1/4 would be? 2.73 Auto.

Maybe a high 13, probably a low 14.

Re: Drag Radials!!! WOW.

Friend of mine has a 98 SS A4..ran 13.5 at the track..we ran when I still had stock cam, manifolds and an exhaust leak.. Went from a dig to 110mph..I lost by a lil over a car length.
So over the winter I fixed my leak, did free mods (TB Bypass, etc) and found out my KS went bad. (22degrees of retard at idle)

Next summer I caught him at a light...we take off... Ill be damned if he didnt pull me to his door...(my nose stayed at his door to about 85 when we lifted)...WTF!!!

He pulls up to me and goes "I got DRs over the winter.. you have to get these!!" DAMNIT!!!!! LOL

Drag Radials OWN!!!

Nice, add Jet Hot LT's, duals(hopefully), CAI, and TB bypass... mid to low 13's may be in order.

Yep, I"ll never run radials ever again(cept for maybe a burnout contest ). Although, I won't run nittos anymore either, with my power/stall they don't like to hook below 40mph. I just switched from 275/50/15 nittos to 255/50/16 m/t dr's and they hook soo much better. I need more suspension though.

Re: Drag Radials!!! WOW.

I would guess with the 2.73's and drag radials you will run 14.0-14.1. It was hard for me to break into the 13's with my 2.73's I only ran 13.9 one time---but i believe the opti is to blame. It's just that it's not really enough gear to give to much traction problems. But since you have bald tires-it should definately cut it way down to 14 flat. I haven't been back sine i fixed the posi and 3.73's and 3200stall. Hopefully in a couple weeks we'll see if we can't get a 12.999. I also agree they hook really well. Even with 3.73's if they are warm they will barely roll over. Get a set and you won't be disappointed. Make sure to run 20 something psi on the street too.......if you run 30 or higher the centers wear out faster than the edges.

Automatics are a lot easier on the rear ends than 6 speeds. I pull mid 1.6 60fts on mine.

Well I pulled 14.3 @ 103mph on a 2.60 60'... I figured I could run a 13.6

so around there? Maybe 13.5 with a 2.0 or better 60ft.
