Down on power... so lost.

The car seems to be really down on power. Ran an 8.85@79 1/8 mile. Friend with a 400 rwhp LS1 was running consistent 8.1s@87-89 all night, which is where I should be. Something's up, and I'm not sure what. It runs great, just WAY down on power from where it should be and I don't know what the problem is. Idles like a champ, rockers are fine. The car just doesn't go like it should with the new motor. Anyone got an idea on where to start?

Mobil1 0w40
233/239 .570 cam
Lloyd Heads, Impala Gasket
1.6 Pro-Magnums, 7/16 NSA with GM guideplates
3000 TCI with big cooler
Electric WP
ASP Underdrive Balancer
A/C Delete
3.73 rear
Stock TB (for now)
30 lb SVO injectors
Madz28 tune
Jet-Hot longtubes into a 3" cat and hooker exhaust (bad cat cause this? its not very old)
Brand new OVC wires

Do you have any way to scan the car and see what it's doing?

No, unfortunately. What would be the best way/tool to get to go about this?

Datamaster or Freescan would be your best bet, but you'll need a laptop and a cable to hook it up to the PCM.
