will a cam from a 97 work (dowl pin wise) in my 95?

 

i dont see why not as long as your 95 had the vented opti (which it should)

 

Maybe yes, maybe no. It was my understanding that sometime in 95 the factory changed pin lengths. The best way is to verify what you currntly have. If your current one is the shorter pin, you'll have to shorten the long one or excessive pressure is put on the internals of the new opti and it won't live long.
