I got the stock cam out and measured the dowel against my cc306 and the 306 was only about 2/3 the length of the stock dowel pin, WTF? So, if this short *** dowel pin is at least .620 it' fine, if not I need to pull it out some. Correct?

 

yes, .620 stick out of the cam for vented opti.

mine was the opposite.. I have a 94 and my dowel was too short. I had to tap it in with a hammer.
