Don't gut your cat..

atleast thats what i think b/c mine sounds more like a truck now than a z28. My old hooker catback used to sound sweet now with a gutted cat doesnt sound near as good wish id never done it. But thats just my opinion. If you have a gutted cat tell me how u think it sounds im just curious maybe im just hearin it wrong

Ya...mine are gutted, and its too raspy up high...I personally like the sound of cars with cats more(atleast ours)...but hey, sound or performance? its up to you

That is why you just need a borla so you can put in a smaller plate and tame it down a bit.

I have a gutted cat and a hooker cat back...sounds good to me. Got a hell of a rash though from laying in all the shiat that came out of the cat
