do i need the GM gasket part # 10217886
and also in the same package as that seal it has what looks like an EGR gasket, kinda triangle shaped with 3 bolt holes and 2 bigger holes (odd shaped) in the center of it, is this an EGR gasket? i cant find the part number on that one since its in the same package as the above part#.......ideas?

You need the two gaskets that go against the block where the pump mates up to it. You take the cover off front of the stock pump, take all the innards out, plug the hole in the back, and bolt the pump onto the face. The CSI I used has an o-ring gasket that seals against the face of the pump.
