Does your speedo jump when you turn your car off

Does your speedo jump when you turn your car off

Just what it says...i'm just curious because sometimes when i shut my car off the speedo jumps a little and then goes down.....and then sometimes it just drops....is this normal?

Mine does it too, i think its normal for it to flick a little bit from changes in pressure.

WTF? Changes in pressure? They don't run off any pressure. They are run electrically, so it's probably just a spike when they are shut off.

Yeah i was thinking it was a spike....do you think this could be causing me to keep on blowing speed sensors?

I was talking about the pressure on the needle guys, as in the force on it. When the car goes off, the electricity can give a little spike and can put more or less pressure on the needle for a second causing it to jump. Jeez
