does weight affect dyno??

does weight affect dyno??

well does it silly question?also for u a4 guys or who ever may know what would be the correct way to dyno my a4 im doing it this week.i mean take it easy through 1st and 2nd and halfway through 3rd stab it and keep in third or d.also i have a 2400 stall does this matter?

If you're talking about vehicle weight, no.

The person operating the dyno will probably make the pull for you.

well maybe but just wondering on the differences in gears,cause 2nd feels stronger than 3rd but does that matter in overall hp.

Vehicle weight will not matter but rotating drivetrain weight can effect numbers put to the ground that is part of why so many of us use 9.5" torque converters(a good 20lbs. savings) aluminum driveshafts, lighter rims. The lighter these parts are the less power they take to accelerate and the more power makes it from the engine to the ground.
