I just got my car back from the dealer today after having the dreading intake manifold leak fixed. I popped the hood to take a look when I got home, and found this vacuum hose just sitting on the top connected to nothing. I quickly opened my shop manual to locate where it goes, but could not find anything. There was a vacuum tube listed as "dist to fresh air" with the tube leading to no where. Is this that tube, and is it to be open and not connected to anything? It seems to feed into the same line as the tube that connects to my intake elbow.
