does the trick flow elbow have a hole for the opti vent?

i just ordered a trick flow black powdercoated elbow and saved myself $96 bux on a stocker (the shop that its at said my flooding problems are due to unmetered air getting in after its been sitting) anyway, i ended up having them send back the stocker they ordered and i bought a Trick flow from summitt for $92 bux shipped and am wondering if it has a hole for the opti spark vent and if not, is it easy to drill a hole in there, or am i better off drilling a hole into one of the rubber connectors between the elbow and tb or elbow and maf?

You'll just drill the hole in the rubber connector between the elbow and the MAF, no drilling of the actual elbow itself is needed.

is that the better way to do it? if i go that route i might stealth it and try to put it on the bottom side or something

Why do you want the sensor to be stealthy? I could understand if you were hiding a nitrous system, but not a sensor.

Just wondering

i doubt it was to "hide" it from suspecting competitors, probably just trying to make the engine bay look cleaner

i dunno i guess i dont really need it stealthy, but i probably will put it into the rubber connector rather than the aluminum elbow and yeah if i did hide it, it would be for appearance

i ended up just poking a hole in the top of the silicon tube with a meat thermometer and then was able to force the hose through the hole and its in there very tightly.....with the new elbow my car starts up easily on the first crank (doesnt take 3-5 seconds like it used to) and it idles smoother, and doesnt give me the immediate stalling after it sits for awhile, nor does it stall when i go to start it (would do this after it sat for more than an hr or so, ie this was worse than the bad idle on startup)

now if only i would have found this myself and just bought the elbow in the first place, oh well i needed to have it looked at by a shop per the state emissions failure rules anyway... im sure it will pass now
