I raced a buddies 99 z28 on the highway tonight. Its an auto. He has bolt ons longtubes/ory catback and lid. I have all the bolt ons. We went from 45, and i jumped right out to about a half a car length. I held him off at that distance till just over 100 and at about 120 i got out of it and he was just a fender infront. I was really really suprised how close it was, and that i jumped out infront and stayed there for so long. He said he was going all out and had nothing left. either way I'm happy with how my poor old lt1 did.

 

Do you know what kind of gears he has.

 

No, but his shifter only goes down to 2 not 1 and IIRC that means 2.73's right?
