What's up with this stuff laying around the garage? I'd like to come over to your garages and rumage through a few things.

I have a Dig6 and I didn't feel a difference, but I didn't even feel it when my car picked up 22rwhp on the dyno.

I out an MSD6A on my old 5.0 'stang and didn't feel any difference. I took it off 6 months later and definitely felt a difference with it not on there. strange..

Shoebox, could you further explain the "difference in the engine note at idle". Would you consider it an improvement with the box?

I agree that I doubt an MSD box wouldn't "kill" an opti, but wouldn't the fact that the ign at certain RPMS is firing multiple times and hence increasing the wear of the contact points at least marginally?

BTW, I never noticed any change with the install of my MSD Dig 6. One thing for sure, having a box tends to add one more item that needs to be checked when tracking down ign problems. Unless you have an MSD tester, and I don't, I always suspect the MSD box when encountering any ign related problem on any vehicle. As most are stating the rev limiter is far better than the oem version.

The MSD Dig6 looks good as heck parked in the engine bay.
