Does exhaust touching underbody=false knock??

My I pipe kinda rests on the underside of the car. Right before it bends to go over the axle it is touching. Could this cause false knock?? I'm gonna put it on a lift in a few days and see if I can do some adjustment

False knock???

It will rattle. My exhuast was rattling under there till I took it to a shop and had it adjusted and welded in. Now it doesn't rattle...

I think i am having the same problem. My hooker LTs are rattleing between the primaries. If i put something between them it goes away. I have yet to pinpoint the problem but thats my next project.

Yeah I guess I'm gonna have to adjust the actual rubber mounts somehow. If you are looking at the back of my car, the catback sits a little too far to the left. All I need is about 3/4 of an inch and I'll be ok.
