Does the CSI need any sealent or does the O-Ring seal?

I can see that there is a O-Ring on the CSI electric pump, but I was wondering if anyone recommends putting sealent around the outside of that to help seal.

Please let me know!

Also, what kind of ft/lbs should I tighten those bolts holding the CSI to the housing to?

I put a thin amount also. cant hurt. dont see any reason not to just do it. it may be overkill, but its better to be safe then to be the first guy who it leaks on and take out the opti with it.

It will seal. But i had to take my pump out of the the housing later on down the road, and that time the o-ring came out of its groove, so i just RTVed it, that worked too.
