Does anyone think it will matter....
I ordered a set of the Jet-Hot LT's today. I was thinking of putting a cutout behind each header at the collector. Does anyone think this will help performance, noise? Should I just put one cut out on the IM pipe before the tube turns up to go over the axel?
I'm sure it'll be noisy as hell, help WOT performance a bit, may cause problems with the knock system, and may cause problems with the O2 sensors (reversion if the cutouts are too close to the O2's).
I'm sure there's a few people here already doing this that will chime in.

Unless you're making a ton of horsepower, I don't think it will make that much of a difference if you run dual cutouts vs. one in the i-pipe. Several people have run the setup you're thinking about in the past, Gabe for one, and I know he ended up ditching them because they seemed to cause more problems than help. I'm sure there are people who have had good luck with this setup, but I'd personally stick with one in the i-pipe.
Thnx for the reply's. Sounds like one cut-out is the way to go. O' my car is far from making a ton of HP. Only 260 after I out about $3000 in the motor. Cam, etc.etc. This is why I'm getting the headers. Trying to up the power. Looking for a set of P&P stock heads under $1000 to help also.
Well a good chunk of that went to a new computer the dealership had to install cause the old one "lost it's program." That falls under, if I only knew then, what I know now..... I needed it though for the car to even start. Dr. Midge are you the guy that does heads also? Can you send me some info about them if you are? I have a hotcam now with stock heads. I am on military deployment right now so I am getting about $6000 a month for the next 2 months. I am National Gaurd, so I still get a check from job as a cop for the next 2 months.
