Does anyone know where the factory tach runs off of?

Does anyone know where the factory tach runs off of?

is it TPS coil dist? anybiody know my car is acting weird and the tach went out and that is probably the problem?

I lost the tach after doing a comp test if I unplug the pcm outlets adn replug them could it fix it?

Nothing to be gained from unplugging the PCM, unless you just happen to have been working on the PCM and might have bent a pin or pulled a wire loose.

When you pulled the plug wires off, and cranked the engine for the compression test, is it possible the ignition shorted out?

I just repolaced the ign module. the car starts it just takes a long time to start and runs crappy when cold but when warm it is perfect. also the car starts perfect when warm. what do yuo think? could it be the tps?
