Cool

Manual trans repair is difficult and requires a fair amount of specialty tools. Pay someone to do it. You can save a bit of money by pulling it yourself.

Yeah...I'd pay someone else to do it...but I don't have 500-800 to spend at all....I'm on my *** with this..

I can get the tools I need though....

took me like 12 hours total. took for ever. use that t-56 manual on shoe's site. its very detailed. you need some very long gear pullers to make it easy.

The repairs I need to make are to the 1/2nd gear setup...I have no 1/2nd gear and the tranny is stuck in first. Is it haqrd to repair damage to the 1/2 gear area? what might I want to look at in my case?

tranny

My tranny took about 20 miniutes to pull it apart and figure out what needed replaced. When I assembled it, it took me the better part of the evening to clean and reassemble! I orderd all my parts from flp (headers) as they were the cheapest!!!
