Does anyone here have Hooker LT, Flowmaster cat-back keep the cutout open always?

Just wondering I have Hooker LTs, Off-road, Flowlessmaster cat-back and think th ecar is too damn loud. I plan on replacing my flowlessmaster muffler with a Dynomax Ultra Flow with stock Z28 tips. I just can't drive around with my cutout open now with the flowless! Do any of you?

I drive with it open most of the time, sometimes I absolutely cannot stand it though. I have the stock I-pipe so I don't like to close it cause it makes the car seem much slower. I once drove with it open on an 8 hour trip and I will never ever do that again, I had the worst headache even before I was even halfway there.

I drive mine with the cutout open all the time with LT's, no cats, and cutout. I like it and can tell a noticable difference in power once its capped.

I do too (sound clips in sig). I had a Flowmaster catback on but took it off the day before the clips in my sig. I drive with mine everyday open. But i have a turndown bolted onto my cutout to direct the exhaust down. One it quietens the exhaust a tad, maybe just cause it directs it to the ground but it does. And my backseats are out and every once ina while a few friends will ride with me somewhere and without the cutout turndown the seat and carpet get really really hot.

Another idea is what ive seen a few people here do to quiten there cutout down just a tad. Place a Dynomax bullet muffler on your i-pipe. It will smooth the sound out more and quiten it down a bit. Plus it only cost like $30 i think for the muffler.

My setup is Hooker LT's, POS Mufflex catless Y-pipe, Flowmaster Cat-back, and DMH electric cutout.

With the cutout open, it gets REALLY REALLY annoying crusing, and though it sounds cool as hell, is too loud for around town driving. But sometimes I just want the car loud, hence the reason I have an electric cutout; change the sound w/ the push of a button.

Wanna hear it?

Car on dyno last year, when it was still internally stock and spraying. The car is a little louder now when I get on it, but I have no video of that, especially since it can be reved out a lot higher (video it revs to about 5800....I pull her to 7k now, and sounds meaner up there).

Current setup, idling, cutout closed

With an electric cutout, can you just parially open the cutout so its not so loud as it would be with the butterfly fully open?

I also have a flowmaster Cat-back system along with dual cut-out's and Q-tec's. They come straight of the LT's so their pretty much open headers. I always open mine when I'm driving and it never gets annoying because you can just push the switch when you want it quiet.
