Does anyone have true duals that aren't too loud?

I want to get true duals, but I don't want my car to be too much louder. I like being able to have a conversation or talk on the phone while I'm driving. Does anyone have true duals that aren't too loud? It's ok if its a little louder than my car is right now, longtubes, o/r y-pipe, and a hooker catback with an 18" bullet in the i-pipe. I was thinking about the moroso spiral flow mufflers, does anyone have any experience with those? My friend has magnaflows on his car, but he scrapes on bumps on the highway, they just hang too low..

I have a cc306 cam, hooker long tubes, true duals (no x/h pipe) with flowmaster 2 chamber 40 series on the end. People say it won't flow well, but its far better than my stock i pipe with an 80 series on it.

Sounds awesome. Very deep and still agressive sounding. It will make a little volume if you really get on it, but its quiter than any other setup I have ever seen. The lope is slightly loud because of the turndowns, but 1500-3000 is almost like stock while cruising.

I have Hooker Longtube Headers, Hooker Y pipe, this is all 3" piping from the header flanges back. I then have a 23" long glasspack and it is seriously loud. I have grown used to it, but I defiantly need something quiter.

It is 95db's at idle and 107db @ 3200rpm.

It's been a long time since I had the stock exhaust, but I think my setup
is just as quiet as stock on the inside. Outside it's a bit louder than stock.
The only way to get a quiet and non-resonant sound is to utilize the stock
muffler location for your true duals (i.e., over the axle).

Exactly. My Bassani true-dual set-up is pretty mellow around town...wot is a different story.

My friend has true duels, with two bullet mufflers after the axle, and it's maybe a little quiter than my GMMG with off-road pipes. I believe if you run the pipes over the axle you should be fine. And use those moroso spiral mufflers.

I'm thinking about the pro-flows, I can get them in 18" vs the 8" moroso. I don't care if its a little louder than what I have now, but I just don't want anything obnoxious. And price is an issue for me, I want to keep it under $350, so I'll be dumping them before the axle.

Dumping B4 the axle is the primary cause of the interior drone. Tail pipes are an added expense but well worth it if you want to keep it from being obnoxious. Take your typical Mustang for example. Flowmaster has probably the most popular MUSTANG catback you can get in the American Thunder. 40 series Delta Flow mufflers. Everyone knows the sound of a 40, Pretty aggressive most of the time but tolerable and almost comfortable with tailpipes. Take off the tailpipes and dump em and you can't hardly talk inside.
