Does anybody have MAC's catback?

I've heard it has that flowmaster chambered sound, but I guess it flows better. Anybody have any expirience with this exhaust. I like the flowmaster sound but I guess everybody says it flows bad. I want something thats loud at idle, and has a nice sound through the power band, also whats up with the resonators in the tips? Any info would be appreciated,

Thanks!

I really like mine. I find the noise level very tolerable and very muscular sounding. I've never heard anything I like better. Oh, BTW I cut the wretched resonators off. They made the system drone unbearably.

Could you please explain in depth about the resonators, I'm not quite sure I understand what they mean by resonators, are they easy to remove? I guess they are in the tips right? I would hate to buy a catback for $400 and have to do some work to it to get it the way I like.

Re: Does anybody have MAC's catback?

I know what you mean, choosing an exhaust was a pain for me too. I went with the MAC mainly because it used flanges for all the connections. It's been installed for 3 years now and there's no rust and it's very easy to disconnect the flanges if you need to do any work on it. It also allows for easy adjustment if you need it. The one thing I hated was the tips, I didn't like the 3.5in size and the resonators changed the sound a bit. It's not very loud at idle like a flow through muffler would be but it gets louder once you step on it. Below is a link to my website where you can see pics of the MAC tips and the new ones I put on. There's also a video but it's kinda hard to hear the exhaust with all the other noise.

If you are looking for a good catback I would reccomend the Hooker one. I know you weren't asking about it but I love the sound of it and it flows good too.
