I need to know how long the cylinders are.

Gen 1 sbc's were 5" and I believe Gen II Sbc's are 5.5"

Are you talking about a 4 bolt SBC block you want to turn into an LT1 block, or a 4 bolt LT1 block?

You can but why?? It will take an *** load of work and Lt1 blocks are pretty cheap.

My calipers dont open up that much so I used a tape measure. That why you ended up with the MOL.

what does MOL stand for?

and what kind of calipers do you have? I haven't seen any smaller than 6 inches.

If a good 4.125 bore block could be converted into an LT1 block, I think that would be .

just wondering how do you convert it i got a lock setting around 4 bolt main it came out of a truck the spun a bearing in it so i screwed the crankshaft up but that doesnt botter me but it like like the motor didnt have hardle any miles on it
