does a 94 lt1 use 3/8 or 7/16 rockers?
does a 94 lt1 use 3/8 or 7/16 rockers?
I bought a kit from a guy on ebay and I just want to make sure the parts will work for my application. the rockers are comp pro mags 1.6 7/16 part number 1305-16. Can anyone verify that these are a direct bolt on or will I need to change anything else to use them. He also included guide plates, are these rockers self or nonself aligning? And are the guide plates all I need to install if they are nonself aligning?
Thanks for any help

Re: does a 94 lt1 use 3/8 or 7/16 rockers?
They are NSA Rockers, however they have a 7/16th stud. From the factory, our cars come with screwed in 3/8th studs. So if they don't include need studs, then you also need to buy a set of 7/16th studs. You can pick them up pretty cheap and they are stronger than a 3/8th stud. That's all you'd need, just remember to install the guideplates when you change the studs.

Small blocks came with 3/8" rocker arm studs, the 7/16" is an upgrade and all thats needed to run them are 7/16" studs, you can get the ARP for ~$35. The guideplates are needed because these rockers are NSA.
