Coolant Temperature with a EWP

Has anyone else with an EWP notice that the coolant temperature seems to be a little cooler when in traffic then when at highway speeds? I figure it's because the pump moves the same amount of coolant at idle as it does at 2500rpm. Any truth to this reasoning? This is in 40* temperature btw.

Re: Coolant Temperature with a EWP

I really havn't noticed a difference in cooling with my E water pump. But I have read a different thread about this topic and it was because of the constant speed of the E water pump.

Re: Coolant Temperature with a EWP

Thats what is ...as you stated it runs the same speed no matter what RPM you are running....And at highway speeds probably running more RPM than in traffic....
