Does a 93 need an adjustable Fuel Regulator?

any help would be great

They don't NEED one, but can benifit greatly from one. The stock fuel pressure is set kinda high, so lowing it a little can get you good results (have heard of 10-15 horspeower in some cases, can't remember if that was rwhp or not).
Also, don't let people tell you the computer will learn the difference and set the timing to negate the fuel pressure! In a 1994+ this is true but in the 1993s, the computers is to dumb to know the difference.

My SLP unit has performed flawlessly on my 93 LT1. Many guys recommmend dropping pressure from 43 psi (stock) to 39 psi. My engine dynoed more power at 46 psi however. My heads are ported and I have aftermarket cam so airflow/CFM have to be accounted for. Time, trial and error is required to dial in each vehicles ideal FP.
i just got an AFPR for free from a freind. CAI Catback and SLP headers are basically the only mods.. I notice in the morning when the car is cold(richer) its got alot more power to it(or so it seams) i know the dyno is really the ONLY way to tell but does that mean i should go richer?
is anyone running this one? http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...&SHOWEMAIL=Off
SLP afpr
Yes, this is the unit I have on my 93 LT1 for the past 3 years. Very reliable and easily adjustable. Also about $50.00 cheaper than some of the other versions. In case someone missed it, the unit is constructed of billet aluminum.
