Do these times sound right?

it was about 50* out lastnight when i went to the track. and i was kinda disappointed in the times since this is the 1st track run with the bird.

most were 8.6 or 8.7's all @ ~81...best was 2.05 60' and 8.644@81.2 (guessing 13.2-13.4 1/4 time)

my only mods are a Vortech S-trim @ 5psi and a 2400 stall with a little bit of tuning, straight pipe, and thats it...toyo proxes F4Z's and all stock suspension in an A4

i just put a block off plate on the EGR tonight, and i was wondering, would i maybe see another pound of boost? i would think the EGR stuff to be kinda like a boost leak.

and what mods could i do to really pick things up? i have a 3" exhaust laying here, just havent put it in yet....but what about some longtubes...i should see about 30-40whp with them because of the blower right? id like some opinions on the next major mods i should do..like should i bump up the stall to 2800 or higher or things like that. all suggestions are appreciated.

my car ran a 8.7 @ 82 with gears(3.42), cutout and homemade CAI back when it used to be automatic. Is the supercharger hooked up ?

it might be better to post this in the forced induction section, they are more familiar with s/c than us NA guys.

well here is some advice
what kinda traction was you getting? looking at your sixty foots you need some drag radials.
if you have 2.73 gears, you need an upgrade to 3.73's

yea..its hooked up. i think it may be my tranny then...i had an ongoing battle for the guy to fix it and he wouldnt....either that or the tune is really messed up.

traction is bad top of 1st and most of the way through second, and 2-3 shift is slipping.

i have seen poeple around here gain about .5 with the blower in the 1/4,

from my limited knowlege on sc my understanding is our heads are to restrictive and you actually couse turbulance in the intake runners of the head in essance blocking the airflow. so i think a good p&p on the head and a set of longtubes will do the trick
