Do my numbers (ET) sound right????

When i first got my 96 hawk i took it to the track and my best time was a 14.3 @ 100.26 mph, this run was on a cold october night exactly a year ago, with bald 275/40/17(street tires) and i had only owned the car for 6 days, so not a very good driver with the 6 speed! The car was pretty much bone stock except for a k&n and flowmaster, and a hypertech power programer. I recently ran my car but it know has Hooker LT's no cats, cut out, 315/35/17's and i took off the programer, and i replaced the opti too. and this time i ran a 13.7 @ 100.98 mph.

For some reason my mph did not change much, could it be because of the 315's, i have them mounted on my stock firehawk rims 17x9, but my et did get lower does this sound right guys???

Those numbers a kinda low, if you ask me. Before any mods on mine, I ran a 13.5 at 105mph. Is your auto or manual? What was your 60ft?

much of it will come from your driving. what sort of clutch do you have and what do you dump it at?

it is a 6 speed with a cheap *** clutch. When mine went out, i had just got the car and was low on funds so i had a friend, give me a BIG discount from where he used to work, Autozone, it was practically given to me, at $85. compared to all the others that are like $300+ . anyways cant wait till this one starts going out so i can upgrade to a Spec.

Your MPH is low, but it could be from have the big tires in the back and not much power to push them. But I am not very sure. I would not think it was because of the Clutch since you don't have alot of mods done, so your clutch should not be slippin.

Re: Do my numbers (ET) sound right????

The mph didnt change because the first time with bald tires he was prolly spinning bad. Then with new meats it hooked resulting in a lower e.t. Isn't it something like every tenths dropped in the '60 equals 2 tenths overall? Mph would stay relativly the same. One of my old times in the '94 is close to that. 13.89@100 with a 2.0 60foot. Spinning of the line netted me a 14.0@100 with a high 2.1 60foot.
