Do I really need these???

I'm getting ready to swap out my stock cam and upgrade my valvetrain. My question is should I buy poly locks for my comp pro magnum's and should I get a valve spring height micrometer?

I'm not sure if this matters much but I will also be installing comp R lifters.

If you are buying a new set of Pro Mags, they come with poly locks.

Some sort of measuring device is needed if you are going to check valve spring height.

I'm so stupid I opened the box of my rocker arms after I posted my question and was pleasantly surprised that I already had the poly locks . Will it make my life much easier to buy the valve spring micrometer or could the job be as easily accomplised with a scale?

Shoebox, your website is awesome. I'm using your guide to install my cam and supporting mods this weekend.

I have done a little more research. What I was thinking about doing will not work. What height micrometer will I need? I have comp 26918 springs.
