Do I need a tune to maximize power from my new headers?

I just finished my header install on my 93 Pontiac Firehawk M6. I went with Mac midlengths, there y pipe and a there 3" off road pipe that bolts in place of the cat. The install went good. The car runs great with a noticeable increase in power. Sounds great with a Hooker Areo muffler. I was thinking about a getting a chip (93 model) from MadZ28 or from PCMforeless. I heard I could pick up 8-10 hp from just a tune alone in stock form. What do you all think. I am already running a 160 degree thermostat. Thanks

Cant say I'd pay for a tune after just doing headers.

If you don't have a bolt-on tune yet, then yes most definitely. I used Alvin @ pcmforless myself.
