Red face Do I need simulators or extension with off-road y-pipe?

I'm ordering the off-road y-pipe for long tube headers by Pacesetter and I'm wondering if I should get O2 extensions or O2 simulators and how many?

You will need both.

you can slice in longer wires instead of buying the o2 extensions, you will need 2 sims though.

Yes, go on and get yourself the flat extenders for the front sensors and 2 square simulators for the back. When I did my AS&M headers, I needed about 6 inches extention for my front sensors so I just spiced some wire into my sensors but I kind of wish I didn't and just got some extentions...

Can I get my computer reprogrammed to ignore the rear sensors instead of buying the simulators?

BTW, thanks for your answers.

I am not totally sure about this, but if you have to pass the OBD2 computer "emissions testing" then if you don't have the rear O2 simms, then you won't pass. If you don't have to worry about that, then yes you can get them programmed out.
