Do I need new valve springs?

I have the cam and valvetrain on my LT1. I was planning on going to 1.6 roller rocker arms soon. With the additional gain in lift, will I also need to purchase new valve springs? If so do you have any suggestions on which to get. Thanks in advance.

Huh?????

If your running the stock LT1 cam I would suggest moving up to the LT4 springs. If your running a after market cam need more info.

Stock valve springs with 1.6 RR's can cause coil bind resulting in breakage of components. My friend's 96 broke 2 pushrods (ball tip came off) after 10K miles.
