do I need a new mount?

Hey guys sorry bout all the damn posts, if I wasnt changing my oil pan gasket I wouldnt be askin all these questions. lol

I jacked motor up to get the oil pan out. But when I tried to lower the mount back in place it got squished and held up on the bracket rather than sit inside.

It has cracks up top, I put peel that rubber piece back. Is this mount going to be fine?

If I do have to replace it, i dont want any vibrations through the car, there is a 50/50 mix on people liking the poly mount. Again cuz I dont really want crazy vibrations inside, I was thinking about replacing just that drivers side cracked 1 with the poly, and leaving the other side oem. Good idea or no?

poly or oem? Ya i know i asked again lol

watching the motor with the hood up, with the oem mounts the motor shakes around quite a bit.

any help appreciated. thanks

Replace BOTH of them with OEM. Do the tranny with poly if you like but IMO they are too stiff for the engine. Makes too much noise.

Man i dont really want to do the passenger side, it looks like a total pain. I have the ES trans mount, cuz i kept breaking the oem 1's i liked the feel of that mount.

Any 1 know the part # for the OEM mount. Im seeing in threads they r hard to come by or expensive. Thats y i was thinkin bout poly on drivers, oem on passenger, maybe balance out lol. the stockers have 150,000km

OEM part numbers

22188799 LH
22188293 RH

about 69 each.

Incidentally, you were most likely breaking the tranny mounts due to bad motor mounts in the first place. But good luck with your experiment

If you already got the motor jacked up to do the oil pan gasket, it is a good time to do the mounts as well. Might as well do them both, the other one is most likely shot or will be down the road.
