Do I need an LT4 intake with TFS heads?

Do I need an LT4 intake with TFS heads?
Like topic says.

The ports on the trickflow heads are much taller on the intake side than the LT1 after porting.

no you don't. if you get them ported then you might want to go with one.

I had mine ported brand new so I bought a LT4 intake and matched the ports to an LT4 race gasket just like the heads are. Later
