Throttle body

88 GTA fiberglass ram air hood and wing, centerline rims, 3.70 gear, 700R4, trans go kit, B&M megashifter, vigilante 3800 stall, LT1 w/ 195cc AFR heads, airfoil, K&N, comp cams 1.6 roller lifters, extreme energy comp cam 224/230, underdrive pulleys, msd plus 6, high voltage coil, 30 lb injectors, american thunder exhaust, TB bypass, 160 degree thermostat, custom burn ecm, T6 aluminum LCAs, Subframe connectors, Hooker super comp LT, muffelex Y
Coming soon: MT ET street slicks

With this combo is my TB a limiting agent for air flow?

I would say so. I saw a post a couple of weeks ago on tb's and it was saying there is no adverse effect of going to a 58mm as opposed to a 52mm. If you do more mods in the future you will need the 58mm anyways so you might as well get it now.

A 52mm throttle body will flow about 750 CFM. That is more than enough for your mods.

There's a guy on this board that was running 11.70s with a LE setup and a stock TB. Switching to a 58mm TB netted him about 5 hundreths.

Do I need a bigger TB for my application? I am currently running a stock TB.

My combo is in my sig.

As a suggestion, do not repost the same question. If it has slipped off the bottom of the screen, and you want to bring it back up to the top, it is acceptable to do a "TTT" post to bring it back. Just wait at least 24 hours from the last response before you "TTT".
