Do I need alignment after springs swap?

I want to get better springs for my car, but I heard that I need alignment done after that, is that true or can I get away without alignment.

Absolutely you will have to get an alignment. You'de have a better chance of hitting the lottery than putting the front end back in perfect.

Bad alignment can screw up tires real fast. BTW while you're there, change to eurothane bushings if you haven't done so yet. Use lots of silicon grease too.

With drop springs, it's a good idea to have it done. Unless you are made of money and tires don't mean anything to you.
