Do I have a longblock

I was just wondering. The car does not look like it has frame damage but the intake elbow has less room to fit on than my 97 formula. I have a 93 Transam A4. Also the fuel rails are different also, they go deeper back than my 97 formula did. How can I be sure? Also if I do have one, what are the advantages of this?

Tim

Thanks

uumm before the bashers get here.....

longblock refers to crate engines. a longblock means it's essentially a complete engine in a crate, short block is just block/crank/rods/pistons.

Yes 93's have completely different fuel rails, and the intake tubing is different becasue they dont have Mass air.

Everyone makes a mistake. No need to feel embarassed. Just read up on your stuff man. Knowledge is key with these cars. Now, go search for everything you have a question about and read up on it!!!

Later man,
Brad
