Talking Do I have everything needed for my LT install?

Well, my jet-hot LT's will be here shortly, just wanted to see if I forgot anything......

1. Copper gaskets
2.NGK plugs and Taylor Wires
3.Firesleeve for wires

SHould I do Motor Mounts? And do I need an lt4 KM or would it be better to get a mail-order tune?

thanks

I would definitely suggest motor mounts. They will be the easiest to replace with the exhaust out of the way and you might find your LTs don't fit as well as you would like with the old mounts.

Yep, I would do the motor mounts too. It's a quick fix. And since you're already there it will be even easier. Also, I would look into some different header bolts instead of the ones Jet-Hot gives you.

You will also need the O2 extension for the O2s you can get them at Thunderracing.com

lt tube install

i would recomend upgrading gaskets its not a fun job installing headers on the 4th gen you dont want to keep doing it put on a set of felpro 1470's would also recomend a set of arp 4001101 header bolts they have a smaller head easier to get a wrench on and they are stainless will not rust and ruin your header flanges

Thay're black oxide bolts. They will RUST and they will RUST fast and become as hard to get out as the old manifold bolts . Go with stainless bolts definetly

ALSO - get a botle of anti-seize lubricant for bolts and plugs

Stage 8 locking headder bolts. They have a allen hole in the middle of them. Makes it much easier to install!!
