If I were you, I'd go back and ask what they did exactly. I was wondering how long it took you to install your AS&M?

 

Not if you put the right exhaust system behind them..... .

AS&M's with modified collectors and "the right exhaust....."

 

The muffler shop is correcting the problem tomorrow, but as far as how long it took me to install the AS&M, my brother and I did it in about 8 hours, over the course of two days. And that was also installing new wires (Magnecor 8.5mm) and new plugs (NGK Iridiums).

 

With all this talk bout headers making your exhaust quiter is making me nervous!! I want to get louder!! Now can you guys tell me if it will make a big difference if i have a corsa cat-back with jet-hots long tubes, and offroad y-pipe?? Just woundering I hope it does...if not, then straight headers it is, lol!!!

 

how much are shorties gonna affect the sound?? i was gonna go LT's but w/ the eibachs they will sit to low and get all bashed up!!!

 

With my car when i had just the Borla cat-back, using the middle plate, i would wake up the neighbors in the morning, i loved the sound. Since installing Mac headers and y-pipe, my car is very much more quiet using the same plate. I always thought headers would make the car louder. Fingers
