DIY boxed LCA's and Panhard bar..opinions, experiences..
i just got my SLP level one package today and i was eyeing the lca's and panhard bar. i have seen some others on this board weld a strip-o-metal on the bottom part of the lca's to stiffen them up a bit.
i was wondering about doing this for the lca's and panhard bar that i just got, to reduce flex and whatnot.
i have a mig welder and am confident in using it, have access to some 1/16" and 1/8" thick strips, and have an angle grinder to clean her up afterwards..
you guys think this is a good idea? you done it?
please lemme know..
thanks,
josh

wicked, thats what i was lookin for... thanks peoples..
i was pretty surprised at the bushings that were in them... i was expecting something slightly more heavy duty..
is there any diff between the lca's and panhard bar in the slp package and the stock ones i have on the car? (besides the bushings being fresh)
thanks,
josh
