Yes those are stock, and yes they are going back on. Plenty of people make plenty of power with stock heads. I am going to see where a T-trim and meth gets me with stock heads before I upgrade.

Let me add more fuel to the fire:
I'm running stock TB and intake mani...

This is something I want to try; to see for myself.

Completley stock heads on a 396?? I'm feeling short of breath just thinking about that

The blower will make up for the heads to a point though.

Well I see you have a stock goal I suppose. just never heard of anyone making power on stock heads really unless they were jetting a 900hp shot.

You didn't mention a T-trim in your oringinal post. Good luck with your project.

a t-trim on a 396 without any porting of the intake or heads ???? well let us know how things turn out you should be able to get out the hole quick but loose speed past the 60ft what cc are the heads? what pistons did you use and how much boost is the next question also a stock tb? dont forget to leave in those 24lb injectors and a stock fuel pump

Heads are 54cc. Diamond Blower pistons with a 34cc inverted dome.

Don't know what it'll be boosting yet since it's not together. Still waiting on the machine shop to finish the block.
