As an example, my car made 634rwhp with the stock ignition with just plugs/wires.

Stock opti/coil and no MSD box.

 

thats pretty much what i thought. the little plastic pieces looked dumb and well personaly i like msd's name brand better.
i'm going to go with the msd gm coil, 8.5 wires and plugs.


my z runs good but i can hear it combusting while at idle. it will be a steady idle sound and then you'll hear a little boom off key. like its not timed right. i had my pcm done by bryan at pcm4less and don't think its that. could it be the opti or....

let me know your ideas or things to check.
