Does it just pull out? Im trying to get my exhaust manifold off. And i can't get it around the stupid dipstick.

 

There is a 3/8" or 10mm bolt the hold a bracket on the dipstick tube to the block. Remove that bolt and pull the tube.

 

Once u take the screw out just play with the tupe and it'll come out. What kinda headers u putting in?

 

try not to bend the dipstick if u can help it, so it will fit right when putting it b ack on... i need to get another one because mine is bent weird nad i cant get the bracket to line up to rebolt it to the block
