dipstick

any tips on getting the dipstick out? i cant even budge this thing...do i pull out towards the top with like some vice grips b/c i tryed it and its not even moving a mm...plus all this plastic crap around the motor mount or suspension or whatever it is...can i just take that off and through it away..thanks for the input.

Pull it hard, make sure you're pulling it straight out, try wiggling it a little. I expected it to come out easy but it took some pulling.

I just priced a new one because I wanted to replace the rubber cup at the top of the tube. They are only $16 so don't be afraid to get rough with it

I put vise grips on it at the bottom, hammered up on it while someone was pulling from the top... I hate that thing. Second time taking it out, I just tried pulling and it broke in half, luckily half of it was already out of the block.
