OK, so heres the deal. A bud and I are in the process of installing a bottle heater for my NX wet kit.

Here is what we have done so far.
Took power from the battery, ran it to an inline fuse......then we ran it to a relay. From the relay we took power right to the bottle and then grounded it. To trigger the relay, we used power from the light in the center console behind the cup holder.

OK, so the heater works fine but, for some dumb reason the dimmer fuse keeps blowing. Everything else works fine, just the dimmer fuse keeps on cracking, and we dont know why.....and its pissing me off!!!

 

The wire your tapping into the dimmer fuse is grounding out somewhere... or is wired up wrong. First try a higher fuse and see what happens. IF that blows then sreach the wires for grounding.
