I have a 95 Z with the 5 piece bose setup. I took out the stock tape deck unit to replace it with a JVC cd deck. I just wired it up normal with a GM harness and used the remote turn on lead with the blue wire to make the bose system work without an adapter. While driving at night now the fuse for the IP dimmer blows and I lose my gauge lights. I tried bumpin up to a 10 amp fuse from a 5 and still the same thing. What does the IP dimmer circuit have to do with the radio??? Thanks to anyone who can show me my problem.
